Family locator for iPhone and Android
Family Nest shows the people in your nest where each other is, tells you when someone arrives or leaves, and gets help to them in an emergency. No ads, and your location data is never sold.

The map
Everyone in your nest is on the map, with their speed while they move. Tap someone to see their address, when their phone last checked in and how much battery is left, with the day's stays and trips below. From the same card: History, Live, Message, or Expect them somewhere.
Places and alerts
Save Home, School or Work with the alert zone you want. For each place, choose whose arrivals and departures reach you, member by member or everyone at once; people who join the nest later are covered too. Place alerts are free.
Live tracking
Press and hold a member to follow them live, with the route and ETA to a place you pick; the map keeps both of you in view as they get closer. Heading home late? Share a live link from the Safety tab. It opens in any browser, no app needed, and sharing ends by itself when you arrive.
Driving
Each trip is drawn on the map and coloured by speed, with every stop, the posted limit on each road and where it was exceeded. Nest Drive scores each driver's week from hard braking, rapid acceleration and speeding, with a word of coaching. Set a speed limit per driver and hear the moment they go over it.
Safety
Press and hold SOS. After a short countdown you can still cancel, everyone in your nest gets an alert with your location and your emergency contacts receive a text with a map link, whether or not they have the app. SOS also sits on a home-screen widget, on Apple Watch, and on iPhone a word to Siri sends it.

Each day as a timeline of stays and trips, with a picture of every route. Two days free, 365 days with Premium.
Arrivals, departures and finished drives post to the Nest tab. React to one, or message a person or the whole nest, photos included.
The phone goes dark at one airport and wakes at another. History shows a flight between the two, not a long stay at the first.
Sign in on an iPad to watch the nest; your iPhone keeps sharing your location. You choose which device shares.
Map, satellite or automatic; light or dark; five themes; and live traffic, from the pill on the edge of the map.
When a phone setting stops someone updating, the app names the setting and takes them to it. You can send an Ask to fix.
A battery capsule next to every member, and an alert when someone's phone runs low.
After an update, a sheet lists what moved and what changed, each with a Show me that opens the right tab.
Privacy
We do not sell your location data to anyone. There are no ads and no insurance gimmicks: just the app, free to start, with Premium if you want more.
Your location goes to the members of the nests you join, and to nobody else.
Turn sharing off for a nest and you show as Sharing paused. No alarms, no fix requests.
One tap inside the app removes your account, history, places and chats.
How it works
A nest takes a couple of minutes to start. Everyone joins with their own name.
Install Family Nest, enter your name and create a nest. You get a six-character code, a QR code and an invite link.
Send the code or the link. Each person installs the app, enters their own name and joins. No account is needed to start.
Add Home, School or Work, set the alert zone, and choose whose arrivals and departures you want to hear about.
Free on iPhone and Android. Create a nest, send one code, and everyone is on the map.
